The okPDF tools
The tool code does not set cookies, save PDFs in localStorage or IndexedDB, or load advertising or behavioral analytics services. Tool searches also run on the page: search terms are not sent to an external search engine.
Temporary memory and cache
Documents and results stay in the browser tab’s memory while you work. The browser may cache site files, fonts and OCR models to speed up later visits. This cache stores program files, not the PDFs you select.
Language preference
We read your browser’s language preferences locally to suggest a language, without using your geographic location. If you choose a language from the menu or confirm the current one, we save only the chosen language and its expiry in localStorage. The preference is valid for 12 months; after that it is no longer used and is deleted on your next visit. You can change the language in the menu or delete this preference in your browser settings. It contains no documents and is not sent to the server.
Access to the preview
The private preview may require sign-in through the hosting platform and use its technical access tools. These are separate from the PDF program.
Cloudflare may set technical security cookies depending on the protections used, for example during an anti-bot check. These cookies help distinguish legitimate traffic from automated traffic and keep the site available; their use depends on the security features applied. Cloudflare Web Analytics, ads and profiling tools are not active.
Advertising and statistics
They are not active. If technologies requiring consent are introduced, updated information, an effective choice and a way to change it will be available before activation. We do not ask for consent for advertising services that this version does not use.
Browser controls
You can manage cache and cookies in your browser settings. Deleting the hosting platform’s data may interrupt access to the private preview. For personal data requests, consult the privacy notice.
